The Magazine Of The Selfie Generation
Last October of 2014, Paris has given birth to a new architectural masterpiece, and it is more than ready to show itself to the world.
The Louis Vuitton Foundation or Fondation Louis-Vuitton is a museum of numerous forms of visual and theatrical art, housing them in a case made of crystal clear glass held together by white cement panels. It is surrounded by dramatic bodies of water, creating a serene and artistically inspiring place to spend an afternoon.
Funded by the Louis Vuitton company LVMH and designed by Canadian-American architect Frank Gehry, the museum focuses on contemporary art and although the main concept wraps around architecture, it was suggested by the LA Times that the museum also aims to connect architecture to haute couture, what with their interesting pieces, minimalist and contemporary, can be deemed appropriate printed on clothing, as well, in my opinion.
